Just a few wedding pictures :]]

Class? Huhh?

I walked into my class this afternoon expecting to be about 10 minutes late, only to find a completely empty classroom. I looked at my watch a few times. No, it I WAS actually late, not early. But apparently class had been canceled? I can't complain though. Collin's working (I guess when you get married you have to start doing grown-up things like get a job and wear slacks and stuff.) So now I've got 2 extra hours to work on homework, ect. It's funny how easy little things, if you let them, can turn into annoyances (ex. class being canceled and I came anyway.) But it's also funny to me to realize how easy little things (if you let them) really turn out to be tender mercies. Thankfully I married somebody who helps me see the latter :]]

Can it really be only 3 1/2 weeks!?

My how time flies when you're having fun! The countdown is on. I'm pretty sure 6 weeks has never gone so fast, EVER. Thank goodness! It's getting close to crunch time and everything just seems to be falling into place. (I'll take it that is a good sign.) Everyday Collin just gets more awesome. :]] We signed a lease on an apartment last week and we can start moving things in this weekend! We're looking forward to being in a new ward with new people to meet! Our church building is less than a mile from our house. (If we feel really inspired we could even walk to church!) As for the UofA shirts, this picture was taken in January, but why not show our Wildcat pride right now? Arizona vs Washington 44-15 go Cats!

Ohh the lists!

I don't think I could possibly be anymore happy and stressed out all at the same time! I'm sure everyone who's planned a wedding knows just what I'm talking about :] The countdown is officially 6 weeks and 4 days. YES! This past weekend we were able to cross a few substantial things off the "Wedding To-Do List." I'm so thankful for all the help we've received. My mom just went through a wedding with my sister Kylie 6 months ago, so she's got this stuff on lock down! (Seriously, my mom is a super hero.) Collin's sister and brother-in-law have a been so much help. At least once every other day I get a phone call from Kacey asking me if I've done this or that. She's always full of great advice. Between my school work and all of Collin's zillion tests there would be no way we'd get everything accomplished without all the help! I ran into Brother Calton at institute yesterday and he asked me how I was doing. As if he could see right through me he asked if I was stressed yet! The answer to that was of course a BIG yes. But it's a good stress! And far more of an excited feeling than anything! :]]

I love this picture, even though Collin is throwing up a gang sign.

The Beginning of Happily Ever After

The first time I saw Collin was just about a year before I actually knew who he was! I was a freshmen at ASU, and had just moved away from home for the first time. He was playing baseball for Chandler-Gilbert and living in Mesa. At the very beginning of the school year the LDS Institute on the ASU campus was having a "Back-to-School" social for all institute students. It was a fun evening where I met a lot of people. Nearing the end of the evening I remembered seeing a couple of very large, very muscley guys. One of them in particular was especially handsome. He was wearing a bright green "V-neck" t-shirt. I remember being almost taken aback by him. I thought to myself; would I ever date a guy like that!? If I had only known then that I would end up marrying him !! I probably would have peed my pants. It wasn't until a year later that I saw him again, when we officially met for the first time. [And believe it or not, it was the following school year at the LDS Institute opening social! Funny how life plays out like that for you.] And, as they say, the rest was history. :]
